Future qualification
Customer-supplied vibration data review
Already collecting vibration readings from your machinery? EchoShift is preparing a bounded, human-reviewed assessment of compatible exports from existing equipment, without an EchoShift hardware installation.
This service is not open for customer submissions or booking. The review process and supported data scope must be independently qualified before any customer files are accepted.
Existing equipment and authorised exports
What a qualified review would cover
The proposed starting point is the quality and compatibility of the supplied data. Where the measurements support it, a human-reviewed report would describe waveform, spectral and comparable trend observations, explain the limits and identify useful next checks.
A machine's identity, sensor position, mounting, sample rate, units, speed and operating conditions affect what the readings can tell us. An export may support only a data-quality assessment, or may be unsuitable for interpretation. Missing evidence would be stated rather than filled in.
The initial focus is vibration information from suitable industrial motors and connected rotating machinery. A machine type or file extension alone does not establish compatibility.
Information that makes existing readings useful
- The machine and measurement-point reference, symptom and maintenance question.
- The instrument and sensor model, measurement direction and mounting method.
- Original waveform export, units and scaling, sample rate, duration and relevant capture settings.
- Calibration information and any known missing samples, clipping or capture limitations.
- Speed, load and operating state during each recording, with the time and date.
- For comparisons, matching locations and capture settings, plus any maintenance or operating changes.
- Authority to share the information and any confidentiality or handling restrictions.
These are preparation notes, not an invitation to upload. Do not send vibration datasets, credentials or confidential production information through the website forms or email.
A waveform, a spectrum and a trend are different evidence
A raw waveform can preserve detail that a screenshot or overall value cannot. A spectrum needs its frequency scale, amplitude units and processing settings. A trend comparison needs consistent feature definitions and operating context. None is automatically interchangeable with another.
A bounded CSV waveform profile is the proposed first format for qualification. Compatibility with proprietary exports, every sensor brand or every machine has not been established. An unsupported file would be declined or returned for clarification, not silently converted into a diagnostic result.
What must happen before the service opens
The supported machine and data scope, independent review quality, confidential file handling and report-release process must pass their qualification checks. Any limited validation participation would then require a separate invitation and agreed scope. No place, free assessment or delivery date is offered on this page.
There is no upload facility here. Any future invitation would explain the permitted data, handling arrangements and report limits before transfer. Customer data would not be accepted on the strength of a telephone enquiry alone.
If you need new measurements or ongoing observation
On-site snapshot diagnostics concerns taking measurements at the machine. Managed condition monitoring concerns repeated observation and human review over time. EchoShift scopes these services around your machinery and maintenance needs, with timing and price agreed before booking.
The existing reference prices of snapshots from £125 and monitoring from £75 per monitored asset per month relate to those separate routes, subject to scope, suitability and separately quoted installation or commissioning. They are not prices for customer-supplied data review.
