Choose a useful scope
Plan the scope, access and follow-up together
A defined snapshot diagnostic may suit a single fault investigation or post-maintenance question. A larger reliability plan should identify priority assets, the evidence required and how findings will feed into maintenance decisions. EchoShift confirms the scope and delivery arrangements before a visit is booked.
See vibration diagnostics and bearing diagnostics for the technical service. Application guidance covers motors, fans and blowers, conveyors and other rotating machinery. Site-specific work is qualified against the machinery and access requirements.
Use the findings to plan what follows
The diagnostic findings summary explains what the measurements support and the next step recommended by the evidence. If further measurements would materially improve the decision, that is identified. For a planned site visit, this helps the maintenance team distinguish the question answered from any follow-up work still needed.
Prepare for a productive site visit
- Site postcode, entrance or gate instructions and the person authorising access.
- Priority asset list, symptoms and the consequence of each asset being unavailable.
- Operating or shutdown windows, induction time, permits and escort requirements.
- Existing readings and repair history, plus the contact who will discuss the findings and next steps.
Coverage includes Carlisle, Workington, Whitehaven, Barrow-in-Furness, Kendal, Penrith and other Cumbrian industrial locations. For multiple or separated sites, give each location its own access details and priority list. Travel and scheduling are planned with the work, rather than assuming that one arrival time or induction covers every site.
