Industrial vibration diagnostics and condition monitoring in the North West

A noisy motor, a pump that has changed after maintenance, or a conveyor drive disrupting a shift: start with the symptom and the site. Birmingham-based EchoShift delivers industrial vibration diagnostics, machinery diagnostics, condition monitoring and engineering support across the North West. We qualify the requirement and deliver directly where appropriate or coordinate vetted and approved capability for the job.

Put the problem in context

Which machinery needs a decision?

These examples help you describe the job. Follow the application or service link for the technical detail; the scope is agreed for your machine.

Motor or pump changed after maintenance

Include the work completed, operating speed and whether the symptom appears at a particular load. This helps us distinguish a useful diagnostic scope from an open-ended request to inspect everything.

Fans, blowers and geared drives

New vibration or noise in a fan, gearbox or conveyor drive can leave a maintenance team unsure what to investigate next. Tell us about speed, load, safe running access and any readings already taken. The agreed scope can help inform inspection, maintenance planning or a post-repair check; a measurement is not a guarantee that an asset is safe to keep running.

Repeated concerns across several assets

Identify the critical rotating equipment first, then list comparable assets and their duty. A one-off snapshot may help investigate a change or bearing concern; repeat evidence and ongoing monitoring may be useful for tracking condition over time. We assess suitability, access and the decision you need to make before recommending a scope.

Find your site area

Local diagnostics and monitoring across the North West

Choose the area for practical machinery guidance, site planning and direct contact with EchoShift.

Manchester & Greater Manchester

Start with the motor, driven machine and operating condition. Tell us whether the change follows a product changeover, a speed adjustment or recent maintenance, and which production decision is waiting on the answer.

Liverpool & Merseyside

Tell us whether the asset runs continuously, in batches or only during loading. Include the site’s operating window so the investigation can capture a useful running condition.

Cheshire & Warrington

Include recent changes in speed, flow, batch, load or maintenance. The question is not simply whether the machine vibrates, but what evidence is needed to decide the next maintenance action.

Lancashire

You do not need a complete monitoring programme to ask for help. Identify the priority motor, pump, fan or gearbox and explain the effect on the work your site needs to finish.

Cumbria

Identify the asset, the maintenance decision and the operating window. Include the exact site entrance and access contact, especially where the works address differs from the place the engineer needs to arrive.

Location and access

Planning work in the North West

Enquiries can start here for Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire and Cumbria. Include the exact postcode: a multi-site enquiry across these areas needs a different visit plan from one accessible machine at a single factory.

EchoShift delivers across the North West from its Birmingham base. For a North West visit, give us the site contact, induction requirements and any shift or shutdown window. If you have several locations, separate the priority asset from later work so travel and scope can be assessed together.

Useful details for the conversation

  • Which machine needs a decision first, and what happens if it stops?
  • Has the noise or vibration changed since a repair, coupling adjustment or process change?
  • Can the asset run safely during a visit, and who can authorise access?

You don’t need every detail to begin. Give us a contact name and callback number, and we’ll clarify what is needed.

EchoShift first

EchoShift qualifies and delivers the response

We qualify the requirement and deliver the appropriate engineering response. EchoShift handles the work directly where appropriate or coordinates specialist or regional capability. You deal with EchoShift through qualification and coordination; scope, timing and price are agreed before booking.

Any external engineer or provider introduced to you is vetted and approved for the relevant work before introduction. We then agree the commercial route and obtain your permission to share necessary details. We do not sell or automatically circulate enquiries. Attendance, travel and availability are confirmed for your job.

How UK enquiries are handled

Can you start with one machine before looking at the rest?

Yes—describe the priority asset and mention the wider fleet. We qualify the immediate question first; any additional diagnostic or monitoring scope is agreed separately.

Qualified starting prices

Snapshot diagnostics from £125. Monitoring starts at £75 per monitored asset/month where appropriate. Installation, commissioning and wider scope are quoted separately.

We confirm the machine, location, travel and scope before quoting. These starting prices do not set a fixed nationwide attendance price or an external specialist’s rates.

Telephone enquiry line open 24 hours a day. Engineering attendance and timing are agreed for your job after qualification.

Calling or sending an enquiry does not create an obligation or confirm attendance. We ask permission before sharing necessary details with a named specialist if an external introduction is appropriate.
