Choose a useful scope
One investigation now, or a condition trend over time?
For an isolated change, snapshot diagnostics can provide a defined starting investigation. For recurring symptoms on a critical production asset, condition monitoring can track change over time. EchoShift qualifies the asset, measurement access and maintenance objective before agreeing either scope.
For industrial vibration analysis of production machinery, use the vibration diagnostics service page for the investigation approach. If your concern centres on a bearing, see bearing diagnostics; for the driven equipment, see pumps or gearboxes and geared drives. These technical pages explain the capability without assuming a diagnosis from the symptom.
Evidence for the next production decision
A diagnostic snapshot includes focused vibration measurements, engineering interpretation and a findings summary. The report explains the main finding and the confidence supported by the evidence, with the recommended next step. For a shift-dependent symptom, the operating condition recorded with the measurement is part of that context.
Send a short production brief
- Site postcode and the line or asset reference, including separate addresses for a multi-site request.
- Normal and affected operating speed, load or product, plus when the change first appeared.
- Repair history and any existing vibration readings, photographs or maintenance notes.
- Shift pattern, site contact and an agreed safe opportunity to observe the machine running.
This page covers Greater Manchester sites including Manchester, Trafford, Salford, Bolton, Stockport, Wigan, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham and Tameside. An exact postcode and entrance are more useful for planning than a head-office address. If the fault appears only during a particular run, flag that before a visit is scheduled.
