Industrial vibration diagnostics in the South East
A vibrating pump, rough-running fan or motor that has changed after maintenance can need a focused check. EchoShift provides industrial vibration diagnostics in the South East, with one-off snapshots and managed condition monitoring for suitable machinery.
Snapshot vibration diagnostics from £125. Scope and travel agreed before booking.
24-hour enquiry line. Attendance and callback timing are agreed separately.
Managed condition monitoring from £75 per monitored asset per month for suitable assets. Installation and commissioning quoted separately.
Regional engineering call-outs and on-site assessments
Industrial diagnostics, based in Birmingham — supporting sites across the UK. EchoShift provides regional engineering call-outs, on-site diagnostic assessments, vibration analysis and condition monitoring. For engineering enquiries and support in the South East, our telephone line is available 24 hours a day. Tell us what's happening with your machinery, and we'll agree the scope, attendance time and price before work is booked.
Already collecting vibration data? Read the planned customer-supplied data review scope. That route is not open for submissions. Do not send vibration datasets or confidential production information through the enquiry forms or email.
Check the affected unit and its connected machinery
Name the machine with the symptom and, where relevant, its duty or standby partner. If vibration appears during pump changeover or when another fan starts, that timing belongs in the enquiry. Similar units may have different loads or repair histories.
A snapshot provides interpreted vibration findings and recommended next checks for the agreed assets. We can discuss whether a comparison unit would help, but it is included explicitly in the scope rather than assumed to be covered by the entry price.
Use pump vibration diagnostics, fan and blower diagnostics and motor diagnostics for the machinery detail. Describe the symptom first; you do not need to choose a diagnosis or a monitoring system before calling.
Snapshot diagnostics and managed monitoring prices
Snapshot vibration diagnostics from £125. The price depends on the agreed scope, machine count, travel, access and timing; it is not a fixed attendance price for every UK site.
Managed condition monitoring from £75 per monitored asset per month for suitable assets. Installation and commissioning are scoped and quoted separately. We agree the monitoring requirement and full price before work begins.
See snapshot diagnostics for a one-off check or managed condition monitoring for an ongoing requirement. Complex or specialist work is assessed and quoted individually.
EchoShift confirms which units and connected machinery the assessment includes. We agree site access, timing and the full price before work begins.
Thames Valley Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire
The Thames Valley is an established technology and innovation area, with advanced manufacturing activity in Oxfordshire. Enquiries here should identify the industrial or support plant you want assessed, rather than assume that a site's sector defines the machinery scope.
For Slough, Reading, Bracknell, Wokingham, Newbury, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, explain whether the asset directly supports production or serves several operations. Include any standby arrangement and the person who can confirm normal duty.
Surrey Hampshire and Sussex
For Surrey, north and central Hampshire and Sussex sites, give a clear plant reference alongside the symptom. “Pump two” may be understood by one shift but refer to a different unit in a contractor's records.
State whether the issue affects one asset, the changeover between units or the whole assembly. If the equipment is under another party's maintenance responsibility, identify who can authorise the proposed investigation and supply the machine information.
Solent and Isle of Wight enquiries
The Solent has a significant maritime and port economy. For Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham, Gosport, Havant and surrounding industrial sites, describe the land-based machinery and site requirements involved. No marine, defence or specialist facility competence is implied by this regional page.
For the Isle of Wight, include access and travel requirements before requesting attendance. We agree practicality and price against the actual scope; an enquiry is not a guarantee of island response or a booked visit.
Kent and Medway
For Dartford, Gravesend, Medway, Sheerness and the wider Kent industrial area, identify whether the machine runs steadily, intermittently or alongside other units. Enquiries from Maidstone, Ashford, Canterbury, Dover and Thanet follow the same route.
If a conveyor or geared drive is the concern, explain its position in the handling process and the normal loading. Use conveyor drive diagnostics for that asset pathway. South Essex and London sites can reach their appropriate route through UK machinery enquiries.
Build a clear asset comparison brief
- Postcode, asset type, separate unit references and number of assets.
- Which unit normally runs, which is standby and whether units run together.
- The symptom and whether it appears during steady operation or changeover.
- Known duty, speed, load and recent maintenance for the affected unit.
- A useful running window, access requirements and the authorising contact.
- The decision you need to make and your preferred callback details.
Questions about parallel and standby assets
Does the starting monitoring price cover a complete pump set?
The reference is per monitored asset, subject to suitability and agreed scope. Explain the assembly and number of units so we can define what would be monitored and quote the full arrangement, including installation and commissioning separately.
Can a standby machine be compared with the duty unit?
Tell us whether both can operate under a useful comparable duty. A standby unit may have a different operating history, so the basis of the comparison must be agreed rather than assumed.
Do similar machines all need the same investigation?
Not automatically. Start with the affected unit and the maintenance question. We can discuss whether comparison assets add useful information and include them explicitly in the scope.
