Industrial vibration diagnostics in the South West
When a motor vibrates, a pump runs roughly or a geared drive keeps interrupting production, start with the machine that needs attention. EchoShift provides industrial vibration diagnostics in the South West, from a one-off snapshot to managed monitoring for suitable assets.
Snapshot vibration diagnostics from £125. Scope and travel agreed before booking.
24-hour enquiry line. Attendance and callback timing are agreed separately.
Managed condition monitoring from £75 per monitored asset per month for suitable assets. Installation and commissioning quoted separately.
Regional engineering call-outs and on-site assessments
Industrial diagnostics, based in Birmingham — supporting sites across the UK. EchoShift provides regional engineering call-outs, on-site diagnostic assessments, vibration analysis and condition monitoring. For engineering enquiries and support in the South West, our telephone line is available 24 hours a day. Tell us what's happening with your machinery, and we'll agree the scope, attendance time and price before work is booked.
Already collecting vibration data? Read the planned customer-supplied data review scope. That route is not open for submissions. Do not send vibration datasets or confidential production information through the enquiry forms or email.
Check the problem machine before expanding the survey
A single motor with new vibration and a group of assets needing routine observation are different jobs. Describe the immediate fault concern first. Include any suspected bearing issue, recent repair or change in load, then list other equipment you want considered.
A snapshot gives you vibration measurements, interpretation and a findings summary for the agreed machinery. If several pumps, fans or drives need checks, we confirm which can be assessed during the available running windows and price the full scope before arranging travel.
See vibration diagnostics and motor diagnostics for the investigation detail. The regional guidance below helps plan work across Bristol and the wider South West without assuming that one visit covers every site.
Snapshot diagnostics and managed monitoring prices
Snapshot vibration diagnostics from £125. The price depends on the agreed scope, machine count, travel, access and timing; it is not a fixed attendance price for every UK site.
Managed condition monitoring from £75 per monitored asset per month for suitable assets. Installation and commissioning are scoped and quoted separately. We agree the monitoring requirement and full price before work begins.
See snapshot diagnostics for a one-off check or managed condition monitoring for an ongoing requirement. Complex or specialist work is assessed and quoted individually.
EchoShift agrees the priority assets, operating windows and site access for the assessment. The scope, attendance timing and full price are confirmed before booking.
Bristol Gloucestershire and Wiltshire
The South West has established aerospace and advanced manufacturing activity, including the West of England and Gloucestershire. Enquiries to EchoShift should identify the actual production or support machinery rather than rely on a sector label.
For Bristol, Bath, Avonmouth and Portbury, consider whether the assets sit together or across separate operational areas. For Gloucester, Cheltenham, the wider county, Swindon and Wiltshire, include the running schedule for each priority machine. Moving between buildings or production areas may affect the usable assessment time.
Somerset Dorset and east Devon
For Somerset, Dorset, Exeter and east or mid Devon, describe whether you want help with one equipment concern or a planned group of checks. A pump, fan and mixer may require different operating conditions even if they can be visited on the same day.
See pump vibration diagnostics and fan and blower diagnostics for those asset types. If the equipment supports a batch process, tell us when the normal duty can be observed and who will coordinate the sequence.
Plymouth north Devon and Cornwall
For Plymouth and South Devon, North Devon and Cornwall, a clear first brief helps establish the value and practicality of travel. Identify the equipment, site postcode and useful operating window before requesting a date.
If several locations are involved, list them separately. We can consider whether grouping agreed work is practical, but do not assume that every site or asset can be included in one attendance. Work at a specialist facility is assessed against its own access and competence requirements.
Island enquiries
For the Isles of Scilly, call or send the machinery details first. Travel, access, equipment requirements and the proposed delivery route need individual agreement. A preliminary conversation can establish what further information is needed; it is not a remote diagnosis or a promise of island attendance.
Build a short priority list
- Put the most important machinery question first, with the asset reference and symptom.
- Add each site's postcode and the number of assets you want considered.
- Record known speed or duty, recent maintenance and any available earlier readings.
- Identify which machines can run in the same window and which require separate arrangements.
- Name the person who can coordinate access, inductions and production availability.
- Give your preferred callback time and the date by which you need to make a maintenance decision.
Questions about grouping machinery checks
Can several machines be checked during one visit?
Potentially, if the agreed scope, access and running windows make that practical. Send a prioritised list. We confirm which assets are included rather than promise an unlimited survey within a starting price.
Should every asset go straight onto managed monitoring?
Start with the reason for monitoring each asset. Machine suitability, duty and the action you would take from the information all matter. We can discuss a smaller defined requirement before a broader programme.
Can you diagnose the problem from a phone call?
The call helps qualify the requirement and plan the next step. A description or recording may be useful context, but it does not replace the agreed measurements and investigation needed for a diagnosis.
